Vavia Technologies, the parent company of MySEOPandit, added one more feather in its cap yesterday. The soft launch of the alpha version of DiscountPandit took place amidst great anticipation and excitement! The ambitious project had received rave reviews in international tech circles even before its launch and was adjudged as the Finalist for the TiE50 Awards,2011.
DiscountPandit is a hyper local social deals search engine. It aims to provide customers with better deals while on the same time assuring businesses of higher profits and more cash flow.
It is an attempt to plug in all the loopholes that exist in the concept of Group Buying in its present form. Deals on DiscountPandit do not require a minimum number of people to sign up for them to be active. DiscountPandit deals are essentially “Deals For You, Around You!”TM . So users are saved from spam deal mails flooding their inbox. Users only get deals that they have subscribed for and within 10 kms of their current location. It is currently available only in Bangalore and will be soon launched in other cities in India and abroad.
